Graphic design
ERA welcomes a full array of custom design and letterpress project inquiries, from large branding packages to smaller runs of more personal products such as invitations or other meaningful pieces that mark time with significance.
For larger branding projects, I offer strategy and project guidance, copywriting/editing, and other services through a team of trusted collaborators.
Philosophy
As a designer and an artist, I find vitality in how these two identities meet and interact. The tactile nature of letterpress printing (mixing ink, adjusting rollers, trimming paper — I could go on and on) grounds me in the materiality of print design. It informs my approach to everything from branding to photography.
Design Journey
I’ve worked as a graphic designer for over fifteen years. Some highlights of my career journey include stints at a traditional letterpress shop in Tennessee, at IBM as part of UX team, and at my own design and letterpress company (7 Ton Co.), co-owned with two brilliant women. Through these ventures and more, I have cultivated an existing deep love for design and the ways in which it can enrich our lives, creating clarity in vision.
